CCIFG Highlights Georgia’s Economic Potential to the French Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade

The Director General of the CCIFG had the honour of attending the ceremony hosted by Mr. Nicolas Forissier, Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade and Attractiveness, on the occasion of the presentation of the insignia of Knight of the National Order of the Legion of Honour to Mr. Philippe Contant.
On the sidelines of the event, she had the opportunity to exchange with the Minister on the activities of the CCIFG, Georgia’s economic dynamism, and the development of the presence of French companies in the country. The discussions also focused on the growing interest in French expertise and on the many opportunities for cooperation between France and Georgia.
On this occasion, the Director General highlighted Georgia’s many strengths: its strategic position at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, its key role in the Middle Corridor, and its position as a gateway to the South Caucasus and regional markets. She also emphasized Georgia’s attractiveness for local production, exports to regional markets, and the development of logistics and industrial platforms serving companies seeking to expand across the Caucasus and Central Asia.
The Minister expressed strong interest in Georgia’s economic potential and stated his wish to visit the country in the near future in order to gain a deeper understanding of the opportunities it offers.
This exchange reflects the dynamism of Franco-Georgian economic relations and opens the way for new prospects for cooperation, investment, and development between the two countries.
