Discovering a CCIFG Member’s Ambitious Agro-Tourism Project in Kakheti

In Kakheti, a CCIFG member is shaping a unique agro-tourism destination rooted in nature and sustainability.

On Monday, April 27, the CCIFG team visited the Kakheti region to discover the project led by our member David Bertrand (Axatya Investment – https://www.axatya.com/) and his partner Charles Gouton-Isnard.

Their goal is to create a 56-hectare agro-tourism site focused on the production of natural products through farming, as well as high-quality organic apple cider vinegar and apple brandy. These two latter activities, which are part of phase 1 of the project, are spread over 18 hectares.

In the long term, residential units and a restaurant will be built, offering access to peace and nature for all, while also boosting the local economy.

Many thanks to Charles for his explanations and warm welcome. We are already looking forward to coming back!
