General Assembly 2026: CCIFG Pays Tribute to Its Founder Antoine Bardon and Elects Thierry Joulin as President

On 30 September 2026, the CCIFG General Assembly paid tribute to founder Antoine Bardon, elected Thierry Joulin as President and renewed its Board of Directors, followed by a Gala Dinner at Askaneli Falestra.

On 30 September 2026, members of the CCIFG gathered for the General Assembly at Askaneli Falestra in Tbilisi.

The evening paid warm tribute to Antoine Bardon, who founded the Chamber in 2011 and steps down after 15 years as President. Under his leadership, the CCIFG became a key player in Franco-Georgian economic relations, and we are deeply grateful to him. He remains a member of the Board of Directors, where the Chamber will continue to benefit from his experience.

The Assembly then elected the Chamber's new leadership:

  • President: Thierry Joulin (Food Alliance)
  • Vice-Presidents: David Gvetadze (Neostream LLC), Ketevan Kenkishvili (Askaneli) and David Bertrand (Axatya Investment)
  • New Board Members: Matthieu Faure (Upcylink / Horus X), Julien Rochefeuille (Mafate.ai & French.ge) and Nargizi Zibzibadze (Franco-Georgian Agro-Industrial Group)

The Board now has 12 members. They also include Antoine Bardon, Shorena Niniashvili (Promethea Voyages), Dominik Bayvet (BV Consulting), Jacques Fleury (GG&MW) and Patrick Honnef (Château Mukhrani).

We warmly thank Alexander Bolkvadze (BLC Law Office), Jean-Michel Charles (Entrée) and Paata Mosseshvili (Intertechnics) for their commitment on the Board.

The evening continued with a Gala Dinner in honour of Antoine Bardon. A piano accompanied the aperitif, and the K. Vardeli String Quartet played throughout the dinner.

Special thanks to Entrée and Askaneli for sponsoring the evening.

Thank you to all our members and partners for your presence and continued trust.
