The CCIFG hosted its twelth General Assembly on November, 22nd !

Thursday, November 23, the President of the CCIFG, Antoine Bardon, as well as Natia Javakhishvili, General Director were happy to receive, at the Pullman Tbilisi Axis Towers hotel, the members of the Chamber for the meeting of the Board of Directors and the holding of the Annual General Meeting.

 

During the General Assembly, the 2023 activity report was presented, as well as the financial report.

 

It was an opportunity to look back on the highlights of the past year, from the European zone meeting of the CCI France international which was held at the beginning of February in Athens, to the seminar on corporate governance led by François Cottignies at the end of June, through the creation of the Committee of Women Entrepreneurs etc.

 

The CCIFG also had the honor of presenting its 9 new members, who were able to meet the rest of the assembly. 

 

The members of the CCIFG renewed their confidence in Dominique Bayvet and Paata Moseshvili, re-elected to the Board of Directors. 

 

The event ended with a dinner at the Dumas restaurant !

EU-supported ‘Georgia’s Responsible Business Awards Meliora 2022’ has taken a start!

Meliora is now open to receive applications.

Meliora – the most recognisable effort to promote and strengthen the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment among businesses, is now open to receive applications. 

 

With the support of the European Union (EU) and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS), Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG) annually introduces the CSR projects undertaken by companies operating in Georgia to the society and awards the bests among them. 

 

Companies are welcome to submit their CSR projects in the following categories: 

  • Green Initiative

  • Responsible Employer

  • Responsibility in the Marketplace

  • Supporting Communities

  • Cross-sector Partnership

  • CSR Manager of the Year

  • Transparency and Accountability on CSR and Sustainability Issues - Implemented with the Partnership of Annual Report and Transparency Award (BARTA) 

 

The Grand prix will be awarded to:

  • Responsible Large Company of the Year

  • Responsible Small/Medium Size Company of the Year

 

Winner projects will be selected by an independent jury consisting of the leading Georgian and international experts, based on proper planning, consistency, efficiency, and sustainability of results. 

 

Applications will be received by 10th February, 2023

Awarding ceremony will take place in summer 2023.
