   On October 17th, the CCIFG visited the office and the factory of its member Georgian Beer Company.

   The Georgian company was established in 2011 with the goal of becoming a leading player in the beer and beverages industry. This green field project was a success thanks to the experience and expertise of the Chocheli family.

   Today the company is controlling each steps of the process: production, quality inspection, marketing, distribution,… They are the second biggest player on the Georgian market with a market share of 38%. Their quality is showed through the European standards certificate they owned:

  • ISO 9001 certificate -Quality Management
  • ISO 22000 certificate -Food Safety Management
  • FSSC 22000 certificate -Food Safety System Certification- that is the highest level of food safety.

Their range of products is quite large and are of high quality standards.

Either the products are under a franchise name, or under an original Georgian one.

  • Lemonade
  • Cola
  • Ice Tea
  • Energy drinks
  • Natural juices

   All the products are proposed in different bottle sizes as well as different recipients (glass, plastic, cans,…). They were the first company in Georgia to produce locally their plastic bottles.

   Today the production is exported in 25 countries around the world in markets such as, the CIS, Europe, America and the Golf Countries. For the moment, no export is done on the Asian market but the company will be participating in the Shanghai Fair in November in order to create awareness on their products.

They will also be present in Paris from 21 to 26 of October 2018 for the Beer Exhibition.
